For my dear friends in Texas: Some people question a loving God during hard times like these. But I promise He is there. Look for His love in the total stranger that comes to your aid, look for His love in the hearts of the relief workers donating hours of their time. Look for Him. Evidence of His love is all around and more powerful than the devastation we see. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." We have eternal hope and love because of His son. And not only has He sent His son, but He often sends you and me and the total stranger to help those in need. You are so very loved. We mourn with you, we pray for you, and we stand ready to help however we can--great or small.
