Have I Done Any Good?

A line from a favorite hymn has been on my mind today, "Have I done any good in the world today, have I helped anyone in need?" It is a simple question, and for some has become a cliche' but I love it, and it has stirred my heart. Happiness is simple, so I'm told, try to make other people happy and you will find it.

I hope your holidays are filled with precious moments of service. Whether it's creating a smile, lifting a burden or calling someone who is lonely, it's the SMALL things that fill our hearts with GREAT joy.
